Synopsis
Kids Today (a.k.a. Juvenile Squad) places children in adult situations inside a comical, occasionally dysfunctional crime, mystery, and detective unit. Written and created by Greg Demirjian, the series is built like a real procedural in the spirit of Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and NCIS, with finely plotted, puzzling cases, then hands those roles to extraordinary young actors who play them dead straight. The result is funny, fast, and surprisingly moving. We get an intimate look at the personal travails our small heroes face on and off the job, and out of their innocence comes a steady stream of wisdom: 'Out of the mouths of babes, oft times come gems.'
