Synopsis
Million Dollar Juice is a fast, filthy, absurdist comedy about innocence colliding with greed, lust, violence, and pure dumb luck, the manic energy of a caper movie crossed with a Kentucky horse-farm farce and the surreal chaos of a midnight cult comedy. Herb is a small, gentle, strangely brilliant Jamaican altar boy with a past in Cuban rodeo-circus performance, who wants only to save his beloved horse Daisy, reclaim his family farm, and be treated with dignity. When a Sunday service erupts into a gun battle between flamboyant gangster Big Shotta and his rival El Guapo, a briefcase of stolen cash spills into Herb's offering basket, and his impossible journey begins. He loses the money on a heartbreaking long shot at Caymanas, gets shipped by FedEx to his Uncle Red at Kentucky's elite Hip Hop Farms, and tumbles into a world of money, lust, and moral disorder ruled by the delusional Boner family. There he meets the reckless Peaches, dodges her cruel friends, and reads of Kap'n Krunch, a legendary stallion whose breeding value runs into the millions, and realizes the most valuable liquid on Earth might be standing in a stall a few feet away. As Big Shotta tracks him across the ocean, a chaotic white party, a catastrophic night in the stables, a wrongful arrest, and a final reckoning back in Jamaica all stand between Herb and everything he loves. Beneath the outrageous surface beats one true heart: a man the world calls a joke proving he is, in fact, a star.
